| 2007 Black Belt Canada Championships |
| On November 10th , 2007 our club travelled to Halifax West High School to compete in the 2007 Black Belt Canada Championships , as hosted by Grandmaster Woo Yong Jung. We had 10 competitors who won a total combined 16 medals at these championships. |

| We had some first time competitors , Chaise Tessman , Brianna Phinney and Dylan Conrad. I hope they bring back some lessons from this competition and train even harder. This will in turn have everyone else around them training harder. Samantha Robar won both of her fights with scores of 7 - 0 , referee stops contest at that point spread. Brianna Phinney won her first fight in her career , in sudden death overtime , continuing to the silver medal in her division. Chaise Tessman was holding his own against a green stripe , when he twisted his ankle and could not continue in the finals of his division. |
