| On July 19 , 2007 Third degree black belts B.J. Hall and LuLu Hall accepted their World Tae Kwon Do Federation Certification from Master Vincent Wight. We are proud to say that all Black Belts at Bridgewater Olympic Tae Kwon Do are World Certified. | On August 1 , 2007 Cody Lowe accepted his World Tae Kwon Do Federation cerification as a first degree black belt from Master Vincent Wight. Cody is 13 years old and attends Center School. He has been training for 8 years. |
| Testing for these ranks was conducted in July of 2006 , with Master Joe Wagner from Halifax and Master Vincent Wight from Bridgewater giving approval to the students for their new rank. The test lasted 3 hours and included showing proficiency in technical kicking , sparring , self defence , forms , counter kicking and board breaking. Approval of the sitting masters went to 9th degree black belt Grand Master Oh Jang Yoon , who recommended the students for their World Tae Kwon Do Federation Certification at WTF World Headquarters (the Kukkiwon) in Seoul , South Korea. Certificates were approved in Korea on September 20 , 2006 , and brought back to Canada by Grand Master Yoon , to be presented on the dates mentioned above. This certification is recognized worldwide by the World Tae Kwon Do Fedeation which has 182 member nations. |
